Welcome party for new Islamic Society office bearers
On 30 September 2013 the new team of the Islamic Society took oath. The event started with an introduction by Dr Farhat Aziz, Adviser of IS. Mr HA Ghani of Religious Studies Department and Mr Kashif Sharoon, Director Students Activities, shared some pointers on how to increase the IS’ activities. The office bearers then took their oath from the last president and pledged to uphold the values of the society. As a recognition of assuming office, the new President Khawar Wattoo and the office bearers were given their official ID cards.
