SBS to hold second session of Bio لوگ
The Senior Biology Society (SBS) is back with another session of Bio لوگ a first-of-its-kind series of sessions about the stories of the people from the Department of Biological Sciences. Get to know about the real life stories of the people.
Continuing with the spirit of recently-celebrated Founders Week at FCC, Team SBS has invited Dr M. Rehan Siddiqi who has been present amongst us from the very seminal stages of this venture to where the Department of Biological Sciences stands today.
Dr Rehan Siddiqi is the first Professor Emeritus of Forman Christian College. With expertise in Integrative Plant Anatomy, Dr Rehan Siddiqi has over 50 years of teaching and research experience. He has also served as Principal, Dean of Natural Sciences, and the Head of Botany Department at Forman Christian College. With a lifetime spent at FCC in multiple capacities, he surely has a lot to share with the new-age Formanites.
Join us as he talks about his childhood pranks, family, student life and professional career. Take a trip down the memory lane as he shares with us the pictures that will speak a thousand words. Get to know his views on the changing dynamics at FCC and get to know about his immense contribution to the Department of Biological Sciences. He will also answer questions in a special Rapid Fire round by the students.

It was a real honor to be a student of Dr. Rehan Siddique.It was not only Genetics that we studied from him but it was the over all permanent mark of his soft and gentle personality/smile. He always tried to develop his students with a greater insight of their strengths and weaknesses.A real role model.
Would it be possible for FCC to upload recording of Dr. Rehan’s story.
On small note: would it be possible to develop a directory of all present and past faculty.
