Little Angels Fair by RCYG

Red Crescent organized “Little Angel’s Fair” to raise awareness about Thalassemia on 26 March 2012. The event was dedicated to children suffering from Thalassemia who also performed on the event.

Dr Shahid Pervaiz Rana (Hematologist Fatimid Foundation) delivered a lecture on Thalassemia at the occasion. He said that it is a genetic disorder and tests of this disease should be cleared before marriage otherwise the children could suffer. Such patients need blood after every 15 days to save his/her life.

Children suffering from Thalessemia performed dances on the occasion. They participated in various games and a fancy dress competition. Gifts were distributed among the a participants. FCC students also gave  a dance performance towards the end dedicated to these children.

Dr Saba Butt thanked Fatimid and gave souvenirs to Dr Shahid Pervaiz and Mr Jawad (Coordinator Fatimid). The function concluded with a candle light ceremony with the hope of eliminating Thalassemia from the world.
