LES takes a tour of Lahore

The Lucas Economics Society arranged a one-day trip within Lahore on 12 January 2013.

67 people, including students from MPhil and Baccalaureate classes and faculty members along with their children joined this entertaining journey.

The trip started from a visit to Wazir Khan Mosque. A majority of the students visited the place for the first time, and found its architecture to be breathtaking. The next visit was to the Lahore Fort and Badshahi Mosque. Students also got a chance to witness the flag-lowering ceremony at Wagah Border. Enthusiasm and zeal was shown by the students and faculty members alike.

The last visit was made to Fortress, where students enjoyed rides and games at Joy Land and Sindbad respectively. Dinner was also provided by the LES team. Time management and the cooperation of students and LES made it possible to cover so many places in one-day, and made it a memorable trip for everyone.
