Griswold History Society visits Mangla Dam and Rohtas Fort

The Griswold History Society arranged a one-day trip to the historical places of the neighboring cities of Lahore ie Rohtas Fort (Jehlum) and Mangla Dam.

The visit to Rohtas Fort was an effort to revive and admire the beauty of the neglected heritage of our country. Rohtas Fort is some kilometers away from Jehlum and is situated in the district of Deena. The impressive architecture of the fort spellbound the viewers who reflected on its splendid past. On the other hand boating at Mangla Dam was the most enjoyable part of the journey.

The members of the GHS tried their best to make the event      unforgettable for everyone. The wonderful feedback that the society received showed that it was a successful attempt. Trips to explore other historical places will be arranged in the near future so keep your fingers crossed to experience the ancient dynasties with GHS.
