Forman Symphonic Strings performs at TEDxLUMS

Forman Symphonic Strings (FSS) participated in the TEDx event organized at Lahore University of Management Sciences on 26 April 2014 as the finale act of the conference.

This episode of TEDx featured some great speakers including social entrepreneur Kalsoom Lakhani, Anila Daulatzai and Mariam Wasif (Visiting Assistant Professors at LUMS), musician Ali Gul Pir, fashion guru Hassan Shehryar Yasin (HSY) and Jehangir Tareen.  The speakers shared their experiences in various fields of life and how they can be useful success strategies.

The performance by FSS received wide critical acclaim from the listeners including the guest speakers and socialites. The orchestra performed a total of three songs including Pakistan National Anthem, Surprise Symphony No. 94 by Haydn and title track from ‘Game of Thrones’. It was made possible through the diligent work of the whole team especially during the Easter Break.

The team was led by Hamza Butt (conductor) and included Qasim Zafar, Mustafa Mehkary, Sohaib Lali, Hassan Haider, Beenish Ali, Rabia Zahid, Waleed Sajjad, Abdullah Sohail and Azriah Wilbur.
