FES arranges trip to Kashmir
The Formanites Education Society successfully arranged a trip to Kashmir via Islamabad, Murree, Muzaffarabad and Chakoti. 16 students from FCCU went on the trip.
The students departed on Thursday from FCC and reached their first stop, Faisal Mosque Islamabad at 6:00 am. Staying there for two hours, they moved towards Ghora Gali and then till Pindi Point through chairlifts.
The students then opted to experience the enjoyment of walking till Mall Road, Murree where they rested for a few hours, before leaving for Muzzafarabad, Kashmir via Kohala.
Their next day’s plans included going to Chakoti to witness the scenic beauty of the place and to see the Indo Pak border there and then coming back to their guesthouse in Muzzafarabad. The very next morning the tourists returned to Lahore via Islamabad and reached here by 8:30 pm.
The trip turned out to be very refreshing for the attendants and Formanites Education Society aims to plan for more educational and recreational tours in the future.
