FDS in top 6 teams at 10th Shahjiwana International Debating Championship
The Shahjiwana International Debating Championship is the annual debating championship of the University College Lahore. This year, the event’s 17th chapter was hosted in January. The event commenced on 25 January 2013 with more than 60 teams participating in the competition from all over Pakistan. SIDC played host to international teams that came from India and Afghanistan as well.
Representing Forman Christian College, we had Uzair Khan and Ahsan Ali who entered as the Urdu team for the Parliamentary Debates. Our team held the honor of being one of the 6 teams that went into the semi-finals. Even though FCCU did not manage to take home the final trophy, we made a mark in SIDC’13 as a formidable debating team that is to be reckoned with.
