FCC Shines at the 1st War of Words Tournament held at U.O.L.
This May, Forman Christian College participated in the First War of Words Tournament held at the University of Lahore. Muhammad Adeel stood victorious as the Best English Speaker of the tournament and won a cash prize of Rs 15,000. FCC Team A, comprising of Tehreem Fatima, Muhammad Adeel and Muhammad Omer Imran, was successful as Runners-Up in the English Parliamentary category and won Rs 25,000, whereas FCC’s Team B, Aneeq Ali, Basam Cheema and Qurat-ul-Ain, made it to the Quarter-Finals.
The semifinalist position was scored by Momin Niazi, Ahsan Ali and Uzair Khan in the Urdu parliamentary Debate. The members of the second Urdu team included Shayan Shoukat, Adnan Waraich and Waqar Karim. Rizwan Saleem, Ahsan Rashid and Usama Tariq also participated as the third Urdu team at this prestigious event. The final was held against GCU. Congratulations to all the participants.
