EES holds Literary Art Exhibition

On 26 November 2013, the Ewing English Club hosted the first ever Literary Art Exhibition at FCC, which displayed paintings, sculptures, handicraft items and live mannequins. Mr Shahnawaz Zaidi, a renowned painter, artist, poet, novelist and educationist was invited as the chief guest. He graced the occasion with his presence and recited one of his famous poems.

Mr Zaidi applauded FCC’s dedication to promoting the arts and giving such platforms to its students and various artists. He was amazed and pleased with the work Ewing English Club is doing and hoped that other societies in FCC would also show such spirit and enthusiasm. He specially mentioned that this is by far one of the best exhibitions he has ever been to. The live mannequins and instrumentals created a welcoming ambiance and added to the spirit of an art exhibition.

A large number of students and faculty members attended the exhibition which encouraged students to promote literature through various forms and media. The Ewing English Club thanks the Kaneez Fatima Literary Society for their input and collaboration. As a token of appreciation the Ewing English Club was awarded a shield by the Chief Guest.
