Earth Watch organizes pet show at College
Earth Watch Club organized a pet show in the Main Ground FCC on 14 March 2011. This event was held at FCC for the first time. The purpose of the event was to make people realize that along with plants, animals too, add to the beauty of the environment and that they are equally important for the functioning of the ecosystem.
Students participated enthusiastically by bringing different breeds of dogs, cats, birds, snakes, alligators, ostriches and hamsters. Many faculty members attended the show to encourage the participants and organizers. The students voted for the first, second and third positions for pets in various categories.
Earth Watch aims to continue such activities to promote love for nature among people.
