APS screens ‘Still Alice’

The Armacost Psychological Society organized a movie screening of the film “Still Alice” on 26 September 2016 which was based on the plight of Alzheimer’s patients. The two-hour highly informative movie portrayed a deep insight into the protagonist’s life who was suffering from Alzheimer’s and how her family was a constant support for her.

The movie session was intended to commemorate the Alzheimer’s awareness month-September and help the students understand how the world looks from the perspective of an Alzheimer’s patient. All in all, the session proved to be entertaining for the students as well as helpful in becoming aware about this disorder, as was evident through their involvement in the movie.
