ALC organzies lecture on Zindagi Aur Adab
ALC organized Adab aur Zindagi, a lecture to encourage medical and engineering students about how to remain intact with literature and language beside of studying sciences.
Mohammad Bilal Malik hosted the event with great zeal along with ALC Team including Nazar Abbas, M Ali, Mussawir, Ahmed Saeed, Anas and a few others. Advisor ALC, Shahzad Ansar introduced the Guest and briefs the purpose of this event. A renowned poet Dr Fakhar Abbas who is a medical doctor by profession and lecturer at Allama Iqbal Medical College, along with his better half was the Chief Guest in the event. He interacted with students and shared a story of success. He did read his own writings and told his story of being inspired for Literature. He also recited the most loved verses of his poetry which made the hall applauding:
Ye jo Lahore se muhabbat hy
Ye kisi or se muhabbat hy
A couple of days before ALC organized a Ghazal and Nazam Navesi Competition and the response was overwhelming. Assistant Professor of Urdu and Advisor ALC, Aneel Samuel announced the result of competition and winners of the competition were invited to present their Ghazals and Nazams on stage. Head of Department and Assistant Professor, Dr Safdar Naeem also witnessed the event.
