Usama Tarar stands 2nd in Bilingual Declamations Competition
Beaconhouse ALGC hosted its first ever Bilingual Declamations Competition on 19th October, 2012. The event had teams from various schools and universities arriving from all over Pakistan. This was an under 19 years Declamation competition, so students from O/A levels or Matriculation/Intermediate levels were eligible for participation.
The grueling competition commenced at 9 am in the morning, where speakers enthusiastically discussed and argued topics of global importance. From Forman Christian College, we had Usama Tarar representing the institution at the Urdu declamation forum. For the English side, we had Ammaz Shabbir.
While, FCC was not able to garner any position in the English declamations, Usama Tarar won 2nd Position in his category as a serious Urdu declaimer.
