SMS organizes Talk on Fulbright Scholarship
Salam Mathematics Society SMS conducted a seminar on “Fulbright Scholarships” in S-009. The event was tranquilly held on August 07, 2023. As the guest speaker, we were joined by FCCU’s former Professor, Assistant Miss Sadia Arif.
Ms. Arif shared her Fulbright experience and instructed the students on how to avail of this scholarship opportunity. She highlighted the importance of Math majors and minors in a bachelor’s degree (collectively available at FCCU) and described the integral process of the GRE examination.

We had a notable opportunity to host Dr. Ahmed Qureshi, the Dean of the Mathematics department, as a chief guest at the event. Along with him, several other prestigious faculty members honoured us with their presence.
Around 100 students participated in the seminar. The session was made interactive and productive, with logical queries and inquiries. Ms. Arif ensured that all questions were affably resolved and clarified the procedure. Conclusively, the sessions encompassed relevant and crucial topics that will prove invaluable for anyone applying for the Fulbright Scholarship program with a Mathematics degree.
