Usama Tarar becomes 1st Intermediate student to complete Roll of Honor points

Aitchison College recently hosted their annual All Pakistan Declamation Contest 2013 in which 2 teams represented FCC. Ammaz Shabbir and Ali Zaidi participated in the English Category and Usama Tarar and Hamza Mustafa were in the Urdu Category.

More than 20 teams from different Institutions participated from all over Pakistan and the competition was extremely tough. In both categories the FCC teams were able to qualify for the final round, and the Urdu Team became ‘Runner Up team’ of the event. Despite heavy competition from the participants and scrutiny by the judges, Usama Tarar was able to secure 3rd Position in the Urdu category and in the process he also completed his Roll of Honor points.

Usama is an accomplished Declaimer and has more than 30 victories to his name. It was his unrelenting spirit and sheer hard work which brought him these laurels and now, once again he has proven himself worthy of all the accolades. He has become the 1st Intermediate student in the 150 years history of FC College who was able to complete Roll of Honor points before graduating.

Last but not the least Usama Tarar is the younger brother of Hamza Tarar, a former Formanite and a Certificate of Merit recipient, who is currently coaching our FDS members and helping them out especially in declamations.
