Rotaract Club conducts Polio camp

The FC College Rotaract Club conducted a polio camp in Wafaqi Colonoy, near Jinnah Hospital on 18th July 2012, in collaboration with its parent club, the Rotary Club of Midtown City. Pakistan is among the three countries, including Afghanistan and Nigeria, which are affected by Polio.

Rotary International and Rotaract clubs around the world have paid special attention on Polio eradication in these three countries. The FC College Rotaract Club have also focused on the same goal within Pakistan and conducts polio camps to administer polio drops to children under five years of age.

Around 150 children were given polio drops during the 3-hour camp. The Rotary Clubs of Midtown city and of FC College played a vital role in educating the people about the disease.
