RCYG starts Forman Emergency Medical Service

The Red Crescent Youth Group (RCYG) started its emergency service at FC College at the Annual Athletics Championship 2012.  During the event, first aid was given to 37 people including 35 trauma cases and 2 burn cases by the Medical First Responders present at the camp. At the Alumni Athletics, 2 injury cases were dealt with by the RCYG members. Last month First Aid was given to more than 50 people on campus.

This is the first step towards starting a proper emergency service at FCC. It is facilitated and founded by President of Red Crescent Youth Group, Muhamad Shafiq, to provide quick and better health services on campus and also to be well prepared to cope with any disaster.  Soon the service will be inaugurated with a proper emergency call number so that in case of any emergency on campus, people can call and get First Aid on spot.
