LES holds Oath Taking Ceremony for its 2014-15 office bearers
On 3 September 2014, the Lucas Economics Society held the Oath Taking Ceremony for its office bearers for 2014-15. The ceremony began with recitations from the Holy Quran and the Holy Bible. Faculty members from and students from the Economics Department as well as members of LES were present at the occasion.
Former LES president Hashim Raja presented the society’s annual report and mentioned that the society won the award for the Most Active Academic Society of the year 2013-14. New LES president Hasan Abbas and the office bearers took the oath of commitment from Chief Proctor Prof Nawaz who congratulated the students on having the opportunity to work for the society. The new office bearers presented a shield to Hashim Raja as a token of appreciation.
