Lecture on Genomics and Bioinformatics by FBS
FCC’s Forman Biology Society (Senior) organized a lecture on Genomics and Bioinformatics by Dr Nauman Aftab on 21 November 2011 in S-009 from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm.
Genomics and Bioinformatics are the fundamentals and essentials in the century’s biomedical research. It was arranged for students to gain knowledge, experience and information in both disciplines. The purpose of lecture was to help and motivate students to pursue further studies in these disciplines. Dr Muhammad Nauman Aftab, Assistant Professor at Institute of Industrial Biotechnology GCU, spoke in depth about the two subjects and their importance in biomedical research. Over ninety students actively participated in the lecture.
