FPSS holds lecture on The Progress of Politics in Pakistan
Forman Political science society organized a lecture on ‘The Progress of Politics in Pakistan’ on 19 September, 2013. The guest speaker was Dr Mubashir Hassan, a democratic socialist. He was the Finance Minister of Pakistan during Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto’s government. He talked about the current political scenario in Pakistan and the key factors that are affecting politics. He also explained the role of institutions like the military and judiciary in the politics of Pakistan. He also briefly talked about the Baluchistan and Karachi issue.
