FIPS Organizes a Workshop on Astronomical Skills
The Formanites Intermediate Physics Society (FIPS) organized a workshop event on ‘Astronomical Skills’ which was conducted by M. Aamna Saleem and her team. Ms Saleem is the Co-founder of Cosmic Perspective, Physics Communicator at Khwarizmi Science Society and has served in the Lahore Astronomical Society and the Planetary Society of Pakistan. The event took place on January 17, 2019 in P-020, Susheela Building.
This is the first time that a workshop event was organized by an intermediate students’ society. This highly informative and thought-provoking session provided hands on experience to the students regarding basic astronomical skills like building your own astronomical telescope. The event was attended, and enjoyed by a large number of students.
