FES Commemorates Defense Day
The Formanites Education Society organized an event for the celebration of Defense Day on 7 September 2015. The event gathered the students from various subject to commemorate the defense day and sang national anthem in unison. An information desk was arranged on the entrance of E block by the society to enlighten students about the event. The table has badges and face painting as well.
The event started at 01:00 pm with an introductory speech by society’s vice president. The event followed by speeches by Brig Javed and Col Khaqan who has been in the war and narrated the scene for audience. Dr Dubash, Dr Christy Munir and some faculty members also attend the event.
In the end, everyone stood up proudly for the national anthem to commence.
