FCCU Students Attends International Peace Day in Islamabad
Ministry of Interior invited students from all over the country to observe International Peace Day in Islamabad on 21September. The Office of Student Activities at FCCU sent four students to represent FCCU on this occasion. Nadeem Tabassam, Iqra Fazli, Asher Gill and Suleman Walter attended the event. The event was organized in collaboration with Higher Education Commission and Interior Minister, Ashan Iqbal was the guest of honor. To promote more awareness of this important Day, Government of Pakistan launched a platform for university students under ”National Youth Outreach Program” named as Youth Development Peace Corps (YPDC) which will help in achieving the following goals:
- Create spaces for youths to express their opinions and listen to them.
- Enhance the peace-building knowledge and skills of young people.
- Build trust between youth and government.
