Ewing English Club arranges ‘Worksheet Station’
The Ewing English Club organized a “Worksheet Station” event on 9 September 2013 outside Lucas Center. More than 100 students participated in the games held at the 3 stations.
At Station I, students were given Crossword puzzles to solve and discover new words. Second was Hangman Station. Students were provided with a clue and they were supposed to guess alphabets within the given time. Whoever qualified at the Crossword or Hangman Station were given a bonus of playing at the third station. The third station was the Music Station where the participants had to guess the lyrics of English songs by listening to them. Participants who could not win at the first and second station or who were not willing to play the bonus round were served juice, while those who won at the Music Station were given cold coffee.
This activity created a sense of encouragement among the students and also helped them to learn English language and to improve their vocabulary through various channels. Students were delighted by the worksheets they had to fill.
