EWC holds interactive lecture on Sustainable Development
An interactive lecture on Sustainable Development was organized by The Earth Watch Club on 12 March 2014. The guest speaker, Mr Ali Hassan, Director General WWF Pakistan, talked to the students about the importance of sustainable development, the eco-zones of Pakistan and the many on-going conservation projects of the WWF. Professors from the Environmental Science Department were also in attendance and they admired the participation of their students in this lecture.
The session came to an end with a round of questions from the audience about the scope and job opportunities of environmental sciences and the importance of Corporate Social Responsibility and ethics for large multinational companies.
