EWC holds Eco-Quiz
Earth Watch Club held an ECO-QUIZ competition for the students of FCC on 05 and 07 September. Students were registered for free. They had to sign up for a three round quiz. It was a two day competition, where three rounds were executed. The topic for quiz was Eco-Tourism. The syllabus and sample quiz were uploaded on the Earth Watch Club official website for preparation.
In the very first round, students had to pass a short quiz individually. After taking that quiz, checking was done at the spot. Top six participants were elected out of all. They qualified for the next “BUZZER ROUND”, where they were asked twenty questions and those who raised hand first, answered the question. Negative marking was also done in the Buzzer round. Three top students were announced from all the six according to their points in Buzzer Round. The last round was held on the next day. It was Rapid Fire. The top three students were given a time span of 90 seconds and they were asked as many questions as they can answer in the given time span. After that round, the winners were announced and were given prizes.
The First prize was a power bank and a USB awarded to Javeria. Second prize was given to an Intermediate student Arsalan Haider, which was a power bank and third winner was Mahnoor Majeed who was given a mug.
