Instructions for the National Art Competition
- Competition for registered Green Students ONLY.
- Other students who are keen to participate and are not currently Green School Members may register now for the new year (registration fee Rs.1020/- without field trip and Rs.1500./ with field trip)
- Green Students will make art work on the theme: ‘Humans… Nature. You make the connection.’
- Students should think of a focused and clear concept that connects Humans to Nature before coming to the competition.
- Concept should be a formulated by the Green Student
- Participants will make all the artwork at the venue
- Students will be required to bring all their own art supplies including their art board to work on and all required material with them to the venue
- Students can use any/various medium in their artwork (poster, sculptor, collage, etc.)
- Students have two hours to complete their artwork
- All artwork must be assembled at the venue
Judging criteria:
- Comprehensive connection made between ‘Humans & Nature’
- Clear depiction of concept in the artwork
- Original concept and artwork
- Use of eco friendly materials
- Smart use of materials
The registration deadline is 28 January 2013.
The registration desk is placed adjacent to Ahmad Saeed Administration Building (N-Block) or you can contact any of the Earth Watch office bearers.
