EES to put up comedy play, ‘Holiday’
The Ewing English Society presents a comedy play, ‘Holiday’ written by Phillip Barry. Directed by Marianne Murphy, the play stars FCC students.
In ‘Holiday’, young lawyer Johnny Case must choose between his upper class fiancée who represents conventional stability and his own dream of giving up work and taking a holiday to discover what he really wants from life. Philip Barry wrote this comedy in 1928, and along with his The Philadelphia Story, it became a very successful Hollywood film.
