Forman Model UN Society
Mission: To cultivate capable, open-minded, awesome Pakistani youth ambassadors.
Forman Model UN Society is a student society open for all FC students who are interested in UN simulations and world affairs.
Model UN is a type of activity in which students act as diplomats of a certain country (not your home country) with an aim to reach consensus and produce resolution in a 3-5 days conference with students representing other countries. MUN started in the 1930s in New York.
We welcome all young, motivated students who are passionate about diplomacy, development, government, politics, health infrastructure, economics, global warming, international trade…etc to join us! Membership opens every year in September.
The first “FORMUN” conference, Formanite Model United Nations, will be hosted on 7-10 March 2011.
