Clean Up Pakistan by FCC Rotaract Club
Rotaract Club of Forman Christian College in collaboration with Lilly (Pvt) Ltd, has initiated a campaign called “Clean Up Pakistan”. The first activity of the campaign took place on Friday, 18 November at Shah Jamal – Kachi Basti.
Twenty volunteers from Rotaract Club, FC College and twenty five from Lilly (Pvt) Ltd participated in the activity. Volunteers cleaned up the Kachi Basti and surrounding areas for four hours. They then informed and provided cleaning equipment to the residents to keep their environment clean and healthy. The aim of this campaign is not only to clean the area but to prevent life threatening diseases which originate from such environment. Multiple locations have been planned for clean up as part of the campaign.
