CBS holds an Awareness Session on Importance of Anti-Corruption

On 6th December 2021, the Character Building Society held an awareness session on the “Importance of Anti-Corruption”. The event was started by the warm welcoming speech by our worthy President CBS Muhammad Sawaiz Fatar. The guest speaker who enlightened us with his words was Director-General Anti-Corruption Establishment, Punjab Mr. Muhammad Gohar Nafees. Associate Vice Rector Dr. Gloria, and, Chief Safety and Security officer FCCU Lt. Col. (R) Khaqan Mahmood glorified the session with their presence.

The theme “Anti-Corruption” was so beautifully inculcated by the speaker. The symposium was attention-grabbing, and it was phenomenal. It was captivating and sensational. The audience was completely engrossed in it. Followed by some intriguing questions from the students in the audience made this session even more informative for everyone who was present there. Mr. Muhammad Gohar Nafees enlightened the students with all the basic knowledge that every citizen must have regarding Anti-Corruption. How corruption is done, what types of people are involved in it and the reasons why people do corruption were also discussed. One of the most important pieces of information which was shared was how you can report to the Anti-Corruption Establishment (ACE).

The Q&A session towards the end made the whole experience out of the world. It not only answered the queries of the spectators but also opened a whole new world of information in front of the crowd. It surely was an experience that can’t be ignored or overlooked.

All the society members got a bit in detailed perspective of what this society aims for and how hard it is working to achieve its goals.
