APS screens documentaries made by PSYC 450 students
The Armacost Psychological Society held arranged the screening of documentaries made by the students enrolled in History and Systems (PSYC 450) on the Friday 18 November 2016 from 1:00-2:00 pm in S-009. These documentaries presented different schools of thought, such as Behaviorism and Psychoanalysis for example. The students were divided into five groups and each group had made a 10-15 minutes video focusing on the perspective that each paradigm presents and the therapeutic intervention that it offers to its clients. The event started with the recitation of the Holy Quran and the Bible, followed by a brief introduction to the topic. The auditorium was packed with students and the faculty of the Psychology Department and the videos were well received and enjoyed by the audience.
