APS holds a Talk on Adverse Childhood Experiences
Armacost Psychological Society presented a talk on Adverse Childhood Experiences focusing on the understanding of development of children who have suffered a trauma on Wednesday 08 March 2017. The session was conducted by Dr Anne ET Kidd and Dr Steven O Kidd, both of whom have specialized in the study of adverse childhood experiences and trauma informed care.
The workshop actively involved the participation of the audience who in majority comprised of students pursuing Psychology as a major. The talk was also followed by an interactive question and answers session and proved to be highly useful to all the students who have been studying developmental theories as part of their curriculum.
