APS conducts workshop on APA Writing Style
APS conducted an informative workshop for the undergraduate students based on APA writing style. Assistant Professor of Psychology, Dr Elizabeth Maria Schwaiger was the prestigious speaker who presented a lively, informative but brief lecture on different aspects of APA. She explained ‘What is APA’ style, ‘ Why is it necessary’, ‘ How to cite articles’. She pointed out differences between plagiarism and paraphrasing and various ways to come up with an effective paper. The PowerPoint presentation highlighted the need of originality within the content and provided guidelines for the students that are working on their researches.
Lecturer of Psychology, Nazia Asif was also present during the workshop and the students were able to get pointers on how to work on their research papers that can be applied to any and every field of academic research.
