EWC holds Eco-Quiz’ 15
The Earth Watch Club held its annual Eco-quiz over three rounds on the 26 and 27 October 2015. The Eco-quiz is an environmental general knowledge quiz based on a specific theme. The theme of the quiz was Soil this year, followed by the theme of international year of the soil. The response to the event by both university and college students was commendable.
Around 60 contestants participated in the quiz with it being narrowed down to 20 for round two. For the final round, the final six contestants were called up on stage for a rapid fire verbal response round. Rida Gul won the competition and received a tablet as a winning prize. Advisor Earth Watch Club, Silvia Machado distributed certificates of participation among the participants.
