Earthling 2025: EWC’s Green Farewell Cultivates Culture of Nature and Community

In a fitting finale to the academic year, the Earth Watch Club hosted Earthling 2025, an inspiring environmental event that brought together over 500 students, faculty, and staff to reconnect with nature through creativity, culture, and community.

The compound event featured two thoughtfully curated activities: a Bottle Terrarium Workshop, where participants built their own self-sustaining miniature ecosystems, and a Flower Exhibition, which transformed the venue into a vibrant haven of color and fragrance, celebrating the cultural bond people share with flora. As a special touch, the terrariums crafted during the workshop were gifted to participants as souvenirs, living reminders of our delicate ecosystems and the responsibility we share to nurture them.

Guided by the leadership and vision of President Farhan Ashraf (tenure 2024–25), Earthling 2025 became a landmark event—the first of its kind at the university—establishing a new tradition of promoting environmental stewardship through hands-on activities and cultural connection.

More than just an event, Earthling 2025 symbolized the Earth Watch Club’s commitment to bridging nature and community. From terrariums representing fragile ecosystems to flowers signifying beauty and care, every element reflected the club’s dedication to promoting environmental awareness in meaningful, memorable ways.
