FCC students win NUST Debating Cup
The National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST) hosted its first ever Olympiad this April. The four-day event continued from 18 to 21 April and was a host to 25 various events held under the slogan, ‘One Palette Every Color.’
Among the vast array of events from rock climbing, to futsal, our Forman Debating Society competed for the NUST Debating Cup. Representing our institution, we had Muhammad Omer Imran and Ahsan Ali in English Team A, Naima and Sidra Bashir in Team B while Tehreem Fatima and Momin Niazi formed English Team B.
The debating competition, spanning 3 days had around 16 teams participating from all over Pakistan. Among the tough competitors both our teams came out victorious, where team A won the NUST Debating Cup with Team B as runners-up.
