EWC holds Pet Show 2015

Every year, the Earth Watch Club organizes a variety of activities which are didactic in nature, providing both pleasure and knowledge so that students can benefit from them in the best possible way. An example of one such event is the Pet Show organized every year by the Earth Watch Club.

This year the Pet Show was conducted on 23 February 2015. The event saw the participation of dozens of pets brought by enthusiastic owners. A total of 120 animals among 35 distinct species were registered for the event. Diverse species of dogs such as German Shepherds, Labradors, Rottweilers, Russians, and Pitbulls dominated the show and entertained the audience. Cats too amused the students with their adorable poses and styles. Birds showed off their beauty. Horses added splendor to the show. At the end, total 24 titles were awarded to the winners of the competitions. The purpose behind this event was to educate the people about the proper ways of looking after pets and accepting the diversity of nature.
