EES holds Sketching Competition
The Ewing English Society organized a Sketching Competition on 3 December 2013.More than 25 students participated in this exciting competition. This event served as a platform that showed the artistic shades of many students in FCC. The theme of the competition was based on Celebrating 150 years with a rejuvenated spirit of love and service. The students were supposed to sketch an image based on the following stanza keeping the spirit of Forman Christian College motto alive:
‘By love serve one another’
So be you simple, decent, kind,
With gentle heart and quiet mind;
And if to righteous anger stung,
Restrain your temper and your tongue.
Let thought for others be your guide,
And patience triumph over pride . . .
With charity for those who err,
Live life so folks may say you were–
God bless your heart!–A Character.
