YEP attends Round Table Conference on the Prioritized SEZs at LCCI
A trip was arranged by young entrepreneurial platform on 17May 2018 to the Lahore Chamber of Commerce & Industry (LCCI) where a Round Table Conference on the Prioritized SEZs was organized in collaboration with Centre of Excellence for CPEC, Pakistan Institute of Development Economics (PIDE), Ministry of Planning, Development and Reform (MOPDR) and Board of Investment (BOI).
Industrial Cooperation is one of the key areas for cooperation between China and Pakistan under CPEC from which the business community can benefit from China particularly in 5 areas i.e. Export, Joint Venture, Technology Transfer, On the Job Training (OJT) and SME Energy was discussed.
More over nine Special Economic Zones (SEZs) under CPEC has been discussed between both the countries. It is therefore imperative to take on board all the stakeholders to better plan, develop and brand SEZs to boost industrialization in Pakistan.
Keeping in view the importance of the event, the session was very beneficial as it contained very valuable information regarding SEZ’S.
