SCS visits Nova Med pharmaceuticals
On 30 September 2014, the Speers Chemical Society ( SCS) arranged a trip to Nova Med Pharmaceuticals (PVT)Ltd.
40 students majoring in Chemistry and Biological Sciences were accompanied by Chairperson Chemstry Department Dr Dildar Ahmad and the teachers Dr Amjad Iqbal and Ms Hina Abid. Students were warmly welcomed by the C/O of Nova Med M Adress. Students were given a presentation about the Nova Med pharmaceutical by the manager of the business department Ms Faika.
Ms Sumaira guided the students through a tour of the quality control, production and research and development departments. The students were given a detailed introduction to the department’s working. The students learned about the formation of medicines and capsules and visited the general tablets, general capsule and oral liquid sections among others.
The students enjoyed the trip and learned a lot from it.
