Griswold History Society
The Griswold History Society is one if the oldest and most active student societies of Forman Christian College. It is named after Prof. Griswold who was a pioneering professor, a renowned teacher and a recognized scholar in the field of history. The Society provides students with healthy opportunities to participate in co-curricular and extra-curricular activities. It is a platform for Formanites to know and disseminate information about the history of culture, religion, society and geography.
The objectives of the Griswold History Society are:

- Learning from history.
- Celebrating important dates in the history of Pakistan and its pioneers
- Giving a platform for students to enjoy themselves

- Lectures on historical topics
- Quizzes about history
- Seminars on current affairs

- Documentaries for pleasure
- Movies for entertainment
HOW TO JOIN?
Any student of Forman Christian College can join the Griswold History Society. The easiest way is to visit the Advisor’s room D4 in D block, get a form, fill it and attach two recent photographs with it. After payment of the membership fee, you will become a member of the Society for the academic year.
