APS Organizes a Mental Health Awareness Seminar
On 24th April, 2019, Armacost Psychological Society (APS) organized a Mental Health Awareness seminar on “Mental Health in the Age of Social Media”. Embodying FCCU’s motto “By love serve one another”, this seminar opened a doorway to serve our society by creating awareness regarding mental health issues related to social media. To address these mental health issues, we had Maqbool “Max” Ahmed Babri, a very renowned clinical hypnotherapist talk about how social media can often lead to toxic thought processes and how healthy thoughts can be cultivated. Furthermore, Dr Ali Madeeh Hashmi talked about how social media leads to depression and how to cope with the demands of social media. The seminar did indeed help students focus more on self-care by becoming more aware!
